New / Used Clothing Drives

Grace Threads Foundation is deeply committed to supporting single mothers and families throughout the Greater Toronto Area by providing free access to clothing through several community clothing banks. Stocked with new and gently used items—clothing, footwear, and accessories—these banks are made possible largely through the generosity of our corporate partners, whose donations allow us to serve hundreds of families in need.

Our Community-to-Community events

Beyond clothing, we also offer household items to foster comfort for those starting over or struggling to make ends meet. Our goal is to ease some of the daily burdens faced by vulnerable families, especially mothers doing their best to care for their children. At the heart of everything we do is a belief in dignity, compassion, and community—and we’re proud to walk alongside those who need a hand.

Small Things, Big Difference

Our volunteer-run clothing banks, hosted a few times a year based on availability, do more than provide essentials—they spark quiet moments of joy and connection that ripple through the community. At one of our recent events, a young mother came in with her toddler, hoping to find a warm winter coat. Not only did she leave with a beautiful, brand-new coat for herself donated by one of our corporate partners, but also a bag of children’s clothes, a set of cozy blankets, and a huge smile.

It’s in moments like these—where kindness meets need—that our mission truly comes to life. These clothing banks remind us all that small acts of giving can restore hope, dignity, and a sense of belonging to those who need it most.
